About Daedalus Street

Daedalus Street is the studio of artists Athanasios Argianas & Rowena Hughes in Kato Petralona on a street named after 'the people of Daedalus' (Dedalides ), opening up to host and produce projects relating to the city as seen from elsewhere.

It is made possible by a circle of patrons, supporters and a series of editions by artists from its programme and the collaborative unique works 'Grow Your Own Lamp' series (2017 - ongoing).

D S has produced site specific events, concerts, screenings, publications talks and off-site exhibitios, mostly made for and in the city, by artists who have not exhibited or produced work in Athens before.

Daedalus Street projects have all been possible with the support of our friends, through donations, in kind support, funding parts of the artists activities and production, or directly purchasing one of our unique series Monstera (Grow Your Own Lamp ) series
